Moving forward is always a result of looking back on past experiences including failures & successes then with that experience in mind making an informed decision on the opportunities that lie ahead.
We started our journey in 1996 with just myself & a vision to make enough money to provide for my family.
As the journey has continued so the faith for the vision has also grown.
I remember employing our first employee through a government subsidy scheme where we had to pay $5 an hour. I remember the intensity of the decision & my wife & I were seriously wondering whether or not we could afford to pay him. Those decisions seem funny looking back with the hindsight of experience but that's it, without the experience how can you make sensible decisions.
We have been on the journey now for some years, we have had our share of failures and we have had some massive sucesses. Through that experience I am convinced that we are in a stronger position than ever to move forward into the opportunites that come our way.
Through it all I believe my values have had a massive effect on how we behave in business. Not all business is good business and what you believe has to be at the very core of how you do business.

The M in MABEL is all about how we conduct ourselves in business. There are always opportunities to take the shortcut, to steal what is not yours or to exaggerate the truth. We have found that in business as in life honesty is the best policy; displaying integrity provides freedom from guilt and produces a better night’s sleep.
Aiming for excellence always lifts the bar on mediocrity. We are not talking about perfection as perfection is impossible to achieve, we are talking about being as good as you can with the materials & circumstances that you are faced with. I liken excellence to that sweet voice inside of you that convicts you when you do wrong compared with perfection that condemns you when you don’t live up to its impossible standards.
The Bottom line of any company has to be the bottom line. A company must make a profit for it to continue to provide sustenance to those who are employed by the organisation. As a company we strive to make a profit each year and each member of the team has a real sense that they are contributing to the financial security of the company.
Work does not need to be a dreary grind that we struggle to get out of bed for each morning. There has to Enjoyment in working. There is a certain raw satisfaction that everyone receives in doing a job well done. Not all tasks may be pleasant but the end result must be good for the soul or we would encourage someone to look at another job.
Light is an amazing thing, it reflects, it refracts and it penetrates all at the same time. Jesus himself said that we do not hide a lamp under a bed; we put it on a lamp-stand for all to see. When we talk about giving light to those around us it’s about encouragement and generosity, its humour, it’s doing things well, its listening, it’s about giving people the freedom to fail and the flexibility they need to make their life function and flourish that they too may be light to those around them.
Pro Active Telecommunications has a strong focus on the family and believes that strong healthy families create strong healthy communities. Moral values are esteemed highly within the company believing that integrity is one of the building blocks of Good business.
So the vision for the future has to have its foundation based on the values of the company with a vision of abundance. Not doing just enough to survive but to thrive. To thrive financially, emotionally, physically & spirtually.
